The Perfect Couple

great plot twists throughout! And as always, love the setting on Nantucket. I love a mystery that you can’t solve until the last 50 pages but once you do, you’re hurried to figure out if you’re right!

thought the book was better than the show

She may not know how to give a character a human name, but boy does she know how to make a sandwich sound good

It was fine. I read it to feel similar vibes to the Five Star Weekend, but felt like it more closely resembled The Guest List by Lucy Foley. I am going to read Hotel Nantucket to really round out my Elin Hilderbrand books, then I am moving on...

This book threw me through a loop and had me up all night every night I was reading it

Celeste and Benji are the perfect couple, having the perfect wedding on the perfect island, Nantucket. That is until the maid of honor dies, and everyone struggles to keep their secrets and reputations intact.
This is quintessential Elin Hilderbrand, with the luscious descriptions of the island, the food, and all the rich people making bad decisions. There is a reason she's the queen of the summer read.

Most of the “twists” were easy to spot from a mile away. It kept me entertained the whole time but I love how it got wrapped up in the end

This glitzy Nantucket wedding party isn’t all that it seems! The Perfect Couple is really fun read, especially for the summer. Every character has scandalous secrets, making for a VERY exciting murder mystery.
