The Rainbow Fish

This is a beautifully illustrated children's book I enjoyed reading to my kids.

I re-read this just to see if it still stood up. It doesn't...it's the same issue with The Giving Tree. Teaching kids to give up more than they can handle losing. There's a fine line to walk between being helpful and being altruistic. (Though it's really weird to see people interpreting this as socialist propaganda haha, I don't really think that is what it is.)
