This started off so dull it was nearly a DNF. I just wasn't getting along with it at all. Glad I stuck with it, because by 11am I was lying in a rapidly-cooling bath, my hands gripping my Kobo, practically drinking the words with my eyes. I had a terrible premonition of getting out of the bath, going to the bedroom to get dressed, opening the door, and seeing the floor covered with leaves...
