It was good, though I felt as though a lot of information from the original book was missing. I read it in one sitting, taking only a few hours out of my day to read.

I would recommend this to someone who wants a fun short read.

My little sister made me read it and honestly I’m surprised by how good it is!! I got to learn more about the FNAF lore and it was actually super interesting and cool and I’d love to continue reading the series!! ❤️🫶🏼

I heard someone once say they would make the movies based on the books.
And hear me out. No hate to the books, it was fun and I enjoyed it.
But if i'm getting a movie based on this I might as well put my head into fredbear's mouth and hope it bites enough of my brain to forget that adaptation ever happend.

Review: I really enjoyed this book! There were so many easter eggs to the games and to the other books in the fnaf lore that makes me excited to continue with the series! The characters were well developed, the world building was greatly detailed, and I loved the attention to detail, especially in the similar ways to "defeat" the animatronics as you would do in the game.


My only criticisms are that the book was a bit slow in places and that the action scenes were a bit wonky and needed a bit more polishing. The book also changed POVs quite suddenly and that can confuse some readers.

Verdict: Highly recommend!

This was a fun read, but nothing to be excited about. The Silver Eyes is a reimagining of the popular video game series with new characters.
The writing is not great (but Scott Cawthon isn't an author so it's understandable), and important information is left out of the story to allow a big 'reveal'. This might work well for people who don't read thrillers, but is always a big no-no to those that do.
