This is the first Susan Wiggs book I've read, and it certainly won't be the last. The detail in the story is excellent, the characters likeable, and the ending entirely predictable! This is actually the second in the series of books called the Lakeshaw Chronicles. They're about the small town of Avalon and various members of the Majesky and Bellamy families (which are intertwined). I need to read the first one - Summer at Willow Lake - and then the other 7...
