I liked the character dynamics a lot, but this novella was just too short to really feel satisfied. This was free on kindle, but am I really invested enough to actually pay money to continue this series? Time will tell.

I picked this one up because it's the Smutathon's group read and it's (still) free on Amazon. I thought it was a great introduction to the three main characters and to the Thalanian Dynasty series. It was also my first MMF read. The plot was pretty interesting but I had problems with the smut part. It's undeniably wild and I liked that it's detailed but somehow I had a hard time picturing what was happening most of the time. The story mainly focuses on the one-night stand so writing it as a novella was perfect. There's a right amount of backstories about the characters and I think Galen is my favorite among them. I'm honestly not sure if I want to continue the next book but overall, I still enjoyed reading this novella.

This book was mediocre. I liked the ending and how it ended on a cliffhanger (but I mean, it was kind of expected), but other than that I wasn't expecting something to be riveting and life-changing- I just wanted something trashy to read.

This was my first erotic romance novel because I have really only read historical fiction romance novels thus far.

I can say that I am pretty sure I will continue on with this series because I am very interested in the direction it is going, plus it is super steamy. Glad to finally be dipping my toes into this genre, I think I'll be reading a lot more like this.

If this book wasn’t offered as a free book on Kindle, I would be pissed. I see many reviews on Amazon saying they spent money on a short book. I can agree with that. It took me all of like forty minutes all together to read this novella.

Did I have a great time? Heck yes. This seventy-three page novella is packed with smut.

Meg is a bartender trying to make it in life. She’s trying to go to school to be an accountant. I think. It’s her twenty-third birthday and her friend drags her out to a club to celebrate. At this club she meets Theo and Galen. Two men who share their sexual activities. She’s in for a huge surprise.

She learns something that completely shocks her at the end of their tryst.

I had such a fun time reading this novella. I’m definitely going to pick up the next two books in the future. Luckily, they are longer than this one.
