JFK, History of an Image
The presidency of John F. Kennedy and the man himself has been the subject of historical interpretation and revision in the years since his death. This book extract examines the major political events of Kennedy's presidency including the Cold War, the Vietnam War, the Cuban missile crisis as well as his decisions on foreign policy. Examination takes place from a revisionist interpretation which goes against the conventional positive image of Kennedy and looks at the former president with a new frame of reference.
