2016 Genocide and Memory in Europe

The first volume of the yearbook is devoted to a central theme of contemporary history. Renowned authors including Ulrich Herbert, Grzegorz Rossolinski-Liebe, and Jürgen Zarusky take stock of German Holocaust research, trace back memories of the murder of the Jews in Ukraine, and critically examine the controversial notion of the "Bloodlands." The volume is rounded out by commentaries for further discussion and a new reading of a key document.
