Three Days of Darkness
Thousands of years ago, in ancient Egypt, Moses, a Hebrew by birth but raised in the Egyptian Pharaoh's palace, was called by God to lead his people out of slavery and into the promised land. At that point in history, the Hebrew people had been conditioned by 400 consecutive years of slavery. The question wasn't "would they respond to God?," but rather, "could they respond?" The land of Goshen, once the prime agricultural area in all of Egypt, had become the land of despair and indifference. Three days of darkness was the ninth of ten devastating plagues with which God struck Egypt. In those terrible circumstances, hatred and murder reigned supreme -- but faith and love ultimately won out. Three Days of Darkness is an engaging story of how Israel coped during this unbelievable time in history.
