Meh.. Started out good.. but then it got stupid and generic and boring and all that shit. What really fucked it up for me was the stupid l'formula they're using with Parts and tie-ins and stories that they're doing to crossover to books. Fucking stop that shit already. Enough. (weird that I hate the whole crossover thing in different titles, but when it happens to series that I love the story I don't mind it at all...).

I was surprised to see how low this book ranks. Out of the recent Batman books, it's certainly not the worst I have read. The story is a bit of a mishmash of nonsense, but... that's more superhero comics lately to be honest. The art is too heavy on the linework, but the monster designs are fantastic. It's a generic sort of Batman story that doesn't offer anything new, but still provides a fun, silly romp with monsters. Just don't think too hard about Dr. Strange's motivations.
