Trickster's Choice Trickster's Duet: Book 1
Reviews

I think if I had to chose a favorite book, this would be it. The book is about the daughter of the famous Tortall's Lioness, Alanna, and what she does. What she does is dye her hair blue, and muddle around in life. She wants to be a spy, but her father flat out forbids it. The book's got anything you could want; gods, kidnapping and insane royalty. Anyways, she is my favorite character ever, and I definitely prefer this book to the second, though not by a lot.

I've read this book multiple times now, and I love it every time I read it. I've never read any of Tamora's books before, but after this I would be interested to. I really enjoyed the characters (and loved their names!) and I loved the spying element of this book, it was so cool. In my opinion, the second book stands up to the first, and overall the duology was a great read.
