I was expecting a big sequel but damn this was an earthquake of a sequel. I LOVED IT. I’ve gotten some new couple I’m waiting to happen and I can not wait to see how this all turns out!!!

Gah! This book is SO frustrating!! I don’t know if it’s me, but I hate books where there’s a heap of things going on and you only know some stuff so you’re trying to figure out what the heck is happening and you have no idea and it’s SO frustrating!!
Anyway, this was a solid book. I LOVE Maddoc and Cap, he’s just everything! I can’t wait for his book.
I love the way these boys love. They’re fierce and they love with everything they have.
At times I’m frustrated with Raven but I have faith she’ll get there in the end!
Waiting, not so patiently for the next book!

Makes me smile..Maddoc from Trouble at Brayshaw High (Brayshaw High #2) by Meagan Brandy.

I love my sweet alpha males and uber alpha males. Give me an alpha male that will throw down for his love and I am a happy girl. I am all about showing and less telling, Meagan Brandy gave me just what I wanted. The best part got more Maddoc Pov when needed and was more possessive over Raven.

Raven loved her more as she would put Maddoc, Royce and Cap before herself. Royce and Cap still play big part in this story and loving every minute with them. 

The plot line is unpredictable with many twist along the way I never seen coming. Series must be read in order as it picks up where book 1 ended.

OH MY GOSH. in the first book i’m not gonna lie I was pissed at Rae the whole time & loved the boys to pieces, but I will say I love all the boys & Rae to pieces now. This book has so much angst & had me questioning motives at every turn. I loved that the boys completely trusted that she didn’t do it out of spite & they wanted to prove they were right. the character development in this book was elite & I am SO intrigued by what is to come of book 3.

I’m pretty disappointed. 
That seems to be an unpopular opinion but I can’t help it.
Maybe that’s because I had very high expectations about this series but turns out even I, the person who’s not a harsh reviewer, was able to point out the things that were very wrong with this series. 

First of all I want to say that this book needed a better editor. It felt like I was reading a draft. And no editor would’ve allowed the words like “a-fucking-wake”, “a-fucking-gain”, guaran-fucking-tee” in a book. 
And it seems the only offensive remark Meagan Brandy knows is “bitch” because it’s written on every page and the appeal and the value that the word possesses is already lost because of that. 

So the part that has been gnawing on me since the second I read it: the threesome in book 1.
I get it that the writers want to make their books as steamy as possible but the threesome that happened in Boys of Brayshaw High was not steamy at all. Nor sexy. It was the stupidest, most unnecessary thing I’ve ever read. Everything shouldn’t always be about sex. Just because you have three boys and one girl as protagonists doesn’t mean you have–or are obligated–to take and throw all four of them in a foursome. Like... no, just don’t

To be honest, all this is a damn shame because the series had a huge potential to be really, really good. The general plot has everything: darkness, mystery, twisted drama but all those things lacked depth and exploration. They were just... given like that, without any preamble. I, personally, wasn’t given the chance to dig and therefore I was robbed of the joy and the satisfaction I wanted this series to give me. I do appreciate the attempt of writing a solid friendship among Cap, Royce and Raven, and a strong brotherly bond among the boys, though. 

The only reason I give both books 3 stars is Cap and Zoey’s storyline, however brief. It’s also the only reason why I’ll read the third book. 

I really wanted to like this series, guys. And as I mentioned, it had the ability to be good. But I guess the author couldn’t live up to her ambitions.

I’m at a serious loss for words at what I just read!!!! Y’all thought what went down in the first book was mind blowing?!?!? You have no idea what this author has in store for you with this book. 

TABH has been one of my most anticipated books after being left on the huge cliffy in book one. And omfg did this one deliver. From the first page, you are thrown back into the world where the first book left off, and you better be prepared to be taken on one hell of a ride. One minute you think you have stuff figured out, and then the author punches you in the face, in true Raven form, with another plot twist. TABH is one phenomenal sequel you just aren’t ready for!
