Teddy Sara mightttttttt be my favorite!!! The witty banter, the sweet relationship that they have made the story really easy to love. Quick snippets of things I loved the most, I loved that sara was an attorney, had her own career and wasnt riding coattails of a man, friend or living in daddys money. While I work from home, it's nice to see strong women portrayed in books! And teddy's goofy side was so similar to my husbands it made it easy to really see myself in that story and want to read over and over. Do yourself a favor, one click it. Its WORTH IT!

The fun thing about this series is that they can be read as standalones, but if you've read the previous books, you get the joy of already meeting some of the characters and seeing how the ones you've already come to love are doing. Kendall Ryan does a great job with that. I loved Teddy and Sara, but really appreciated seeing the characters from the first two books. That definitely put a smile on my face. Teddy and Sara have more of a history than they're willing to let on, but it's definitely coming back to haunt them. Making a sex tape is risky, especially when you're famous. When someone gets their hands on the file and starts blackmailing Teddy, things get complicated. Teddy and Sara haven't been close in years, but now they have to revisit their past and try to solve things before it leaks. I really enjoyed Sara and Teddy. They're both very ambitious and their careers are going where they want them to. Sara doesn't want their friends to know, but the team needs them to work together to make everyone think they've always been a thing to minimalize the possible damage of the tape. Fake dating is one of my favorite tropes and this book made it a lot of fun. Even though they weren't actually dating their chemistry was off the charts and I smiled a lot while reading their adventures. Due to how they end up getting close again, I honestly expected more drama in this book. It's not really a bad thing, because a book doesn't always need a lot of angst. Except there was kind of a build up without the big explosion I was expecting. It makes me wonder if certain things were really needed in this story! All in all, Trying to Score was a really fun book. I got everything I've come to love from Kendall Ryan: amazing characters, humor, steamy moments, laugh out loud moments and being sad when a book ends. She always makes me love her characters and I can't wait to read the next book!
