A lot of the reward for this job comes in the form of a warm glow. It doesn't make you look any less tired, you can't pay the rent with it, and it's worth a lot less than the social life you've traded it for, but this comforting aura of goodness and purpose defnitely throws light into some dark corners and helps you withstand a lot of the shit.

To-read listemde düzenleme yaparken hatırladım, ince bir kitap bi de Christmas alakalı dedim okuyayım bitsin listemden de çıksın gitsin. Tam da böyle düşünülerek okunacak bir kitap, 2004 senesinden başlayarak bir doktorun yeniyıl öncesi mesailerini anlatıyor ve bu 2010'a kadar devam ediyor. Zaten komedi kitabı, çok gülmedim ama sıkıcı da değildi yine de bilemedim okumasanız da olur sanki.

(4.25/5) Audiobook - 1 hour 21 minutes - Another brilliant insight into the NHS, not quite as hard-hitting and emotional as the first but it never was intended to be. This had me quite literally laughing out loud at points, and yet still managed to wonderfully portray his message.

I really enjoyed This is going to hurt by Adam Kay when I read it and wanted to read this but waited until the season was appropriate. Adam Kay has a fantastic way of blending comedy with heartfelt moments and this one was spot on for that too. 

It really does make you think about our NHS.

My one criticism was that this book was not long enough. I want more.
