My Review (May Contain Spoilers, Fair Warning Upon Reading This Review)
Two Is A Lie is the second installment in the "Tangled Lies" series and even though its been a while since I read the first book (I had to prepare myself for a love triangle lol ) it was easy to remember the events of the previous book and jump quickly into this one here. In this book we have a situation where our heroine is having to choose between two men that she loves. One is a man she thought was dead and the betrayal of being so deceived to for years. Then she has the man that pulled her out of the darkness and into living again. She is torn between two halves of her heart.
This book TORE me apart and I am not going to lie it was so hard at times to go through this alongside with Danni. You literally feel how each individual into this triangle is torn apart and all the pain that is involved in this particular situation. You just know that no matter who she chooses in the end that there will be heartache and loss for all of them. The two men involved are also best friends and we are seeing the betrayal between their bond. Pam Godwin has such intricate talent in being able to write a story that captivates you in such a real way. Her writing really digs into the human emotion of the equation and you can feel such intense heart within this story. I will be honest in that I wasn't sure what I felt about this book and even though there are aspects to Cole I do like.....I am #TEAMTRACE all the way. There are just some actions that Cole takes within this book that is much more manipulative in a way that Trace doesn't do. I understand where he is coming from but at the same time, he just doesn't have the level of integrity that I saw from Trace. Now I know once I start book three I will probably skip to confirm it will be who I want. I know I KNOW I should just let myself have an anxiety attack lol but honestly I just gotta know who it is before I continue but what a ending this turned into here.
Overall I had a blast with "Two Is A Lie" and it was a brilliant addition to the series and one of the most powerful stories that I have read from this author. Even if you aren't a fan of love triangles, I can't recommend this trilogy enough because it will change your mind on love triangles. It was full of sensuality, heart and torturous emotion that just tugged at my heartstrings.

What IN THE HECK. what are emotions at this point
