Hold Me
Reviews

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and options are my own. Let me start off by saying I’m VERY mad at both Willow and Amelia. HOW could you end the book like that?! I’m DYING over here. You're telling me I have to wait until May 24nd, 2022 to find out the conclusion of this book?!?!?! I don't think I’ll survive. On a real note this book really sucked me into it. I'm so glad that this series is now a series and not just a duet. There’s so much that I know we need to learn about Zander and Ella. Their pasts are so interesting and I loved getting the bits and pieces throughout the story. It was such an amazing read and I just couldn’t put it down. This book felt much faster than the first book, but it really helped me fall so much more in love with them. I love the dynamic they have, I think that the D/s aspect is key in this story. It really helps you understand them both better. I still have so many unanswered questions and can wait for the third and final book!! Must read series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hold Me is a delectable second installment of this trilogy and dives right into the heady D/s relationship between Zander and Ella. They both have been in previous arrangements but neither of them are ready for the emotional entanglements that break in past their walls. Things change just as swiftly as they formed reminding you how fragile Ella still is. Zander has gone easy on her because of this but realizes too late in the game that it’s been a grave mistake to do so. What started as simply forbidden love is twisting into a jagged web of past lies and suspenseful secrets. Leaving you wondering what exactly does Ella have locked inside her and is Zander strong enough to pull her through it all while simultaneously fighting his own demons? I’m cheering for them but man, it’s gonna be a rough, painful journey for them both. These characters are gonna frustrate you because you want them to get over shit and get to their HEA but that’s just not how they operate. They’re too broken. I really enjoy Willow and Amelia co writing together! Their styles mesh impeccably well making for a seamless transition between chapters and character POV. If you’ve read either of these authors you may be able to tell who wrote what because they don’t loose their individual voice instead they complement their uniqueness making for a solid read. By the end of this book I was even more invested than I was to begin with. I have no real predictions of where this story is going but I do know that I’m in for one hell of a conclusion when the finale comes and I don’t see Willow or Amelia letting me down.
