Maybe it's because I just read all the older comics, but I absolutely loved this collection. Freaky and violent and great. Hopefully the remaining volumes don't disappoint. I really enjoy this monster of the week detective style that's going on. I know the upcoming Disney+ show focuses more on the Lemire run but getting to see who Mr. Knight is? Wow, I cannot WAIT to see what Oscar Isaac does in this role.
What the hell was that. I was so excited to read Moon Knight because I felt like the character design was so good, and so unique. Even after reading the comic I still think the character is so unique and well designed. However, the writing in this comic is so awful. There is no depth, no personality, no character. Nothing comes out of the comic! It doesn't help that half of the pages are just action sequences. I mean you could have replaced him with any other character and the comic would be the same, which is definitely not the way to write a comic. Looks like I'm going to have to get Lemire's version of Moon Knight and hopefully it will redeem the character.
