Warrior Fae Trapped

An Amazing Return to DDVN First things first, I am ecstatic to read another book set in the DDVN world and this was amazing. In a world filled with strong, snarky women, Charity holds her own. She comes off every bit as amazing as Reagan and Penny; she is resourceful, strong-willed, and totally kicks butt! Devon’s role as a prodigy, but still awfully young, alpha feels totally authentic as well. He makes a great foil to Charity. I truly feel you could start DDVN with this book, or with Reagan’s books, or even with Penny’s books. They are all slowly coming together, but not in any way that whose series you start with will spoil the others for you. Having read all the others myself, I can see the threads of the storylines weaving together and it is a thing of beauty. This world K.F. Breene has created is so dynamic. Lots of authors write their books within a single created world, but I don’t think I have ever read ones where the characters from different books are so completely interconnected, but still separate. I don’t know how she keeps track of all the details so well! If you’ve read the other DDVN books, you will love this! If you haven’t read the other DDVN books, this is a great place to start and, believe me, you will end up wanting to read all the others!

DDVN has to be one of my all-time favorite literary worlds. I absolutely cannot wait to read the culmination of this series as the characters on their separate adventures begin to converge. In this book, the race is on to get Charity to her people before her warrior fae powers completely overwhelm and destroy her. From page one, this book grabs you and jumps right into the action. You'll find yourself holding your breath, hoping the pack can get Charity to her people before it's too late... but then, the adventure and danger are still not over!
