The Art of the Story

This is yet another must have for any ElfQuest fan. This is a behind the scenes book, that showcases the final product with the original art, sometimes even the first sketches, and then the inking. Along with each page is commentary by both Wendy and Richard, as they explain what was going on, what she was thinking about, and how the story evolved.

I absolutely adored this book and I'm so glad that I own it. If possible, you should look for the deluxe version, it has extra pages and is truly beautiful.

In 1978, Richard and Wendy Pini self-published Elfquest #1 and introduced audiences around the world to the elfin Wolfriders, trolls, and superstitious humans, all trying to co-exist on the World of Two Moons.
