Wicked Bite A Night Rebel Novel
Reviews

This review was originally posted on Addicted To Romance This will be a shorter review so I don't risk spoiling too much for you!! Wicked Bite is the second book in the newest trilogy "Night Rebel" and this series features our favorite joker of the group.,....Ian. After falling in love with the first book, "Shades of Wicked" I was so eager to get into this book and I have to say that this book just didn't disappoint in any way. This story is full of all the epic feels that you would come to expect from this author and your desire to see Ian have his own powerful story. I will say though that the feeling of this story is different from the other books in the Night Huntress World but just as superb just unique from the others. There is something in the telling of Ian and Veritas' story that is so empowering in many ways. Their story is so relatable in some ways. There are so many fun discoveries that we are brought to reality with and what a thrilling ride it is. Ian and Veritas go on a stunning adventure with many roadblocks along the way and what a cliffhanger. Now, this is the type of cliffhanger that unlike that previous book.....our pair is still together but there is some tension on what is going to happen in book three. These two just NEVER get a break do they??!! But they are solid and are true fighters and see how unified they become in this story and I was there for it 100%!! If you loved the first book then you will have a fantastic time seeing Ian and Veritas continue their adventure!!!

These books are always so much fun. Can I wake up to the third one tomorrow?

Wow. Wow. Wow. This was hot. All jokes aside, I seriously can't remember the last time I read a decent vampire (or supernaturalish) novel, so kudos to the author for doing such a great job bringing these characters to life. The storyline that was engaging and engrossed me enough in the read nearly left me speechless, the dynamic relationship between Veritas and Ian was superb and their connection was swoonworthy. Just knowing that she meant something even after all his memories were erased showcased that and was further proven by their intimate scenes (prince albert, anyone?). So don’t miss out on this great supernatural paranormal novel filled with action, actual plot and storyline (bless), hot vampires, and oh so steamy chemistry. But… yes there is a but! Please note that this obviously isn’t a standalone, so definitely check out book one of the series to catch up on Veritas and Ian journey in defeating Dagon and rekindling a nearly diminish relationship.

I really loved Ian and Veritas in this book.. i loved them in the first one, but they seem to reach a new level in Wicked Bite. Ian is one of my favorite characters, he hides how smart and loyal he is behind sarcasm and recklessness. Veritas loves Ian and after the events in the end of the first book, that left him missing some memories. She thinks the best way to keep him safe is to stay away from him.. however ian does remember certain things and Veritas is one of them.. so he has to use some underhanded methods to hunt her down.. Now that they are back together Ian will do what ever it takes to recover his memories and keep Veritas with him forever.. Both Ian and Veritas are super bad ass, and they show it in this story.. And let me tell you that ending makes me super excited for when the next book comes out..

I love this series! Veritas and Ian compliment each other so well..I think to get everything out of this story you should start form the beginning of the night huntress series with Cat and Bones.. But if you don't want to do that you should at least read the first on in this spin off. Veritas is avoiding Ian, due to the events in the last book, she thinks she's protecting him. Ian isn't supposed to remember her at all, but he does.. well not her exactly at least not at first.. he does have a sense that something/someone is missing and that its important to him.. when he does remember Veritas and that he married he ian does his best to track her down.. Veritas has been avoiding Ian, until he slides something that makes it impossible. So they are reunited, and sparks fly.. I love the romance between Ian and Veritas, they really except each other.. Veritas really comes into her own here, accepting the part of herself that she keeps hidden away.. her darkness which is even more bad ass than veritas normally is.. The whole story was great!! They finally defeat Dagon who they were fighting in the first book.. and what was revealed at the end... i can't wait for the next book!!
