Integrating Music Into the Elementary Classroom
This text provides students with opening background chapters on how children learn music as well as tips on the fundamentals of music. In addition, this text is a comprehensive approach to teaching methodology, including Orff, Kodaly, and Dalcroze techniques. The text develops musical skills while describing the ways music can be integrated into the elementary classroom through the use of singing, the making and playing musical instruments, listening, dancing, as well as other artistic media.
