Palmetto Pearl

William F. Watterson is a very proud person and loves his state of South Carolina. He was born in Columbia, South Carolina, and his father was a Baptist pastor. In 1974, the family moved to North South Carolina, a small farming town about twenty-five miles south of Columbia, South Carolina. That is where William Watterson learned to fish and hunt and found his love of the outdoors. William Watterson wants everyone to find their Pearl of the South and to take children out into nature.
