This book was sick and twisted.

what the fuck did I just read

What the fuck did I just read?

That was weird

I find this a little hard to rate accurately, because I am torn between 3 and 4 stars. The overall craft of this book is quite brilliant. The author is able to pull you in so quickly that it felt like I was sitting on the edge of my seat the whole entire time. Was it as graphic as I anticipated? No. Was it as disgusting as I anticipated? Not quite. But it was enough to have me waiting with bated breath until the very end. And at the end? I found myself wanting to know MORE. What happened afterwards? A one sitting read that will hold your attention from start to finish simply because this author knows how to tell a story - no matter how screwed up it is!

Probably the most fucked up book I have ever read. But I would read it again.

I will read anything, even if I know I might not like it. I’m not a fan of fantasy or science fiction, but I frequently get told that “this book” will change my attitude about those genres. Spoiler alert: they never do. Every now and then a fantasy or sci-fi will sneak in and be enjoyable (think Harry Potter and anything by Blake Crouch), but for the most part, they’re not my jam. I not only shy away from books considered controversial or disturbing, I seek them out. I need to find those books that will shock the hell out of you.
Another spoiler alert: this book will shock the hell out of you.
There is no way to describe this book, whether it’s the storyline or the minor details. It’s simply impossible to give a synopsis about this book without giving any of the story away, so I’m not going to even try. What I can tell you is that I literally tried to wash my eyeballs with some Dawn dish soap. This book is absolutely disgusting. From start to finish, it’s filthy. It’s also so well-written, you will find yourself unable to stop reading it. You will cringe, you will likely want to also wash your eyeballs with some Dawn, but you won’t be able to put it down.
I was blown away by how well-crafted the story is, and how well the writing sucked me in and wouldn’t let me go. This book is super short (thank goodness), but it packs a lot in a small suitcase. If you make the bold decision to read this one, make sure you’ve got plenty of time (I’d probably skip the snacks, just trust me) to sit and read the entire thing.

I am deeply concerned

very weird lol

wow i…don’t even know what to say, or how to rate this?
