World Development Indicators 2003

World Development Indictors 2003 contains reliable quantitative data which is essential for understanding economic and social development because it provides evidenceA?evidence to set policies, monitor progress, and evaluate results. World Development Indicators allows users to monitor progress toward the Millennium Development Goals. These goals, agreed to by all member states of the United Nations, establish specific, measurable targets for development in the early 21st century. World Development Indicators 2003 CD-ROM contains over 550 time-series indicators for 208 countries and 18 country groups, covering 1960 to 2001, and offers mapping, charting and data export formats. The Tables function presents more than 5 sets of country tables, covering specialized topics such as social indicators, economic indicators, education, and population projections. In addition, it provides the full contents of the WDI print edition, and some quick reference tables on GNI per capita, country classification among others.
