I know this book does not have the best reviews but i loved it alot. I love the characters and also how the world was develop both in the character life and also the fantasy world. It was so unique and it also made me want to read more by the real bronte sisters. It was such a fast pace read and did suprise me at points. I was supprised how much i enjoyed this book but very good book from the jan. owl crate box

            This is one of those books that I wish I would've read when I was younger. It could've inspired me to write more and I probably would've been so drawn in by the imaginary world. Reading this at the age I am, it just kind of fell flat. The created world didn't seem very magical, the strange romance between Rogue and Emily and Charlotte and Zamorna didn't sit right, and we all knew that S'Death was Old Tom. I was a bit bored, and I wished I could've been more drawn in. I think this is my first time reading a retelling and it did make me interested in reading the Brontes work, especially knowing some background. I will probably hang onto this until I find another book that is similar and that I think would inspire kids to write a bit more.
