I first fell in love with this story when I watched the movie in 2016. After that there was a frantic search for an English version of the book, which, unfortunately I could not find. Or maybe I should say fortunately. I believe books find you when you need them most. I also believe it’s fate when my parents convinced me to go to a local Japanese store one night after dinner. It was there that I found Your Name, in English. This story found me twice, both times when I needed it. 
I absolutely loved this story, and am almost certain it’s my favorite. The characters, the humor, the love, and the loss of it all are relatable to anyone. It’s a story that will move you, and that will stay with you. If you haven’t read it yet, or watched the movie, you should. If you haven’t found this story yet, I hope it finds you when it’s mean to. It’s incredible.

i’m enjoying reliving the story and focusing more on what they’re saying and what’s happening, but it’s really just the same as the movie but not as cinematic, colorful, and no sound heh. i think that’s what makes me love the movie—but still loving this story. i actually really want to finish the manga because i love this story so much! it’s just flying by so quickly in the manga.

this was so cute! i love the story, it’s exactly like the movie as far as the storyline goes, just shortened, and i’m loving it. your name is my favorite movie possibly, so how could i not love the manga!

Et c'est un coup de cœur pour cette trilogie ! L'histoire est belle, douce, j'ai été surprise du tournant que ça a pris dans le tome 2, et j'ai fondu sur ce tome ! Tout est beau, les dessins, l'histoire, les personnages. A aucun moment je me suis ennuyée ! J'ai hâte de voir le film maintenant 🤩

C'est si doux, j'adore ! Un peu déstabilisant au début les échanges mais quand on s'y fait, c'est génial. J'ai envie de lire le 2 tout de suite ! ♡

This was good but there were times within the story where I didn't even understand who was talking. Whether it was the guy or the girl. Other than that it was pretty good.
