Dear Coquette was such a hilarious read. I don't read that Non-fiction very often but I couldn't put this book down. It was so good! I'm new to Coquette's work as well as what she does on the internet and it was really interesting getting to know what she's like through the questions she answers.

I have to admit though, the author can be a bit harsh. Being new to her work and all, it took me quite a while to get use to her vulgar tongue and bluntness. But once I was familiar with the way she writes, I was hooked. Behind the sharp words, there's honesty. That was what I liked most about The Coquette. She's like an entertaining Psychologist - while you laugh at her witty jokes, you learn from it.

Mind you though, this book is not for everyone. I couldn't get pass most of her questions mostly because I can't really relate to them, ergo I don't find them interesting. That was definitely a problem for me. Also, the book targets an older, more mature audience. If you're unfamiliar with controversial topics you hear about today, the book would most likely bore you to sleep. I, on the other hand, quite enjoyed it.

Overall an interesting and enjoyable read. I highly recommend this book to people who just wants a good pick-me-up that'd make you laugh. For younger readers who are interested, please be mindful of the profanities and mature content.
