It is a shame that the best parts of the novel are the Gothic manor houses and the murder mystery since they often take secondary place to trying to tell a love story. I mean, the love story itself is compelling - just a little bit too predictable and run-of-the-mill to hold my interest. Probably why the novel also started promising, enjoyed a couple of exciting moments and then seemed to fall flat towards its end.

The novel felt cosy, though, and it did enough to make me consider buying the physical novels, with the absolutely gorgeous UK edition covers.

What a lovely sequel. Adalyn Grace has yet again written in a way that makes you wish you didn't have to do anything else and could just keep reading and reading. 

While I do think Belladonna had a better build-up and tension in the story, Foxglove has the same mystery and plot twists I loved when reading the first book in the series. 

I definitely look forward to reading Wisteria next!

I really enjoyed this one more. I think because the world and plot were more established I could invest in this one a lot better. I think adding in the additional POV was so good and I’m so excited to see where the next book takes us because I really liked how this one ended.

Definitely heavily inspired by ACOTAR or the same stories ACOTAR was inspired by. 

Signa is still compelling, but Death & Fate play such big roles and their characters are so one-dimensional!

Both Signa and Blythe are brilliant and interesting main characters, I loved reading their stories and I can't wait for it to continue in Wisteria. The story played out well and while I guessed some of what would happen, I was still surprised by the plot twists at the end

This was incredible, Signa And Death his faith in her never waived and I wanted to CRY. They’re love is so beautiful but Signa and Blythes relationship too. Everything about this was perfection just like Belladona. I’m to addicted I want more of their story I am begging on my knees.

I wasn't really compelled to the story the first half, but it became better and better from then on. I'm really happy with where the story went and how everything came together in the end. Really curious for the next one!

Once AGAIN - theories I developed were made to seem implausible only to prove correct in the end. 

I'd say this one was a faster pace than the first but, not rushed either in my opinion.

The perfect sequal was not dissapointed.  There was so much that happened in I loved it. Can't wait to read more from this Author

This book unfortunately lagged for the first 40% despite starting with a literal murder. I was stressed, anxious, and bamboozled. I really liked seeing Foxglove and learning more about Signa's parents/past, but I also want to know what happened that day. Blythe is an icon and I love her.

Foxglove dragged a little bit for me around the middle of the book but the last 100 or so pages has me hooked again! I loved the fact that we got to see things from Blythe’s point of view in this one and enjoyed that there was still mystery and intrigue  in this one. I’m very curious about a few things can’t can’t wait to have Wisteria in my hands!

Still love the atmospheric creepy stuff, still could go without the Bridgerton stuff. Was real worried this would end on a bad cliff hanger but it ended relatively satisfactorily which is great cause I still have a while to wait until the third is out.

i literally called that plot twist from page one!!! overall, i liked this a lot more than belladonna but again i had an issue with the pacing once i reached about midway through the book (specifically part 2) which is why it’s not a 5 star read for me

the vast range of emotions that this book made me feel were far too many for my brain to handle. and while i understand that foxglove just came out, i am internally screaming in anticipation for wisteria.
