Lusting After Dark

Looking for your next spicy, smutty (at times, filthy) book? Come join the dark side of romance where we love our villains and morally grey characters. We love that they're unhinged, dark, bullies, and especially, we love that they would destroy and burn the world for the one person they love. You'll also find taboo romance that are not for the faint of heart. You've been warned. 🛑 This is for an 18+ audience. Most of these books include trigger warnings and are not for everyone.

IN CASE YOU GUYS DIDN'T KNOW:

It came to light that the author DANA ISALY has committed plagiarism, as well as used someone’s CSA (Chi!ld S<xual Abu$e) trauma as profit, all without consent. This is the reason I erased my reviews and ratings for her books in exchange for a brief explanation of why I retracted my review and won't be supporting her anymore.

Vo.Eros has shared so much evidence, there’s just no way not to believe it. He also shared a post about "why victims don't come forward", and that entire post made me feel legitimately sick. There was even mention about how Dana Isaly had used him. Because this drama was overtaking so much of his life and the original female creators, he's put everything back to private. But there are many out there who saved the information. I'd gladly have a conversation with anyone who reaches out. Feel free to DM me on Twitter (whisperingchap) or Instagram (whisperingchapters).

I also won’t be supporting Willow Winters anymore. While not having to do anything with the situation, she involved herself just to defend Dana Isaly. In doing so, she bullied so many people, even to the point of tweeting (now deleted) that she wished “someone” would get hit by a bus, referring to Eros and Jaclyn (the original content creator). Her behavior is one that brought so much hurt, too, and I won’t stand behind an author like her. There are lots of screenshots supporting this evidence.

Eros has created such a safe space for women, women identifying, and non-binary in his Patreon, Discord, and Twitch. The book community only knew of him as someone who would do voice overs for smutty book scenes, but his actual content goes above and beyond in giving a safe space, and I applaud him for that.

In case you skipped all that, I'll say it again: I WON'T BE SUPPORTING AN AUTHOR WHO PLAGIARIZES AND USES SOMEONE ELSE'S TRAUMA TO SELL BOOKS.
