I feel like the only good thing this book had for it was that it was a fast past mystery. That and the synopsis on Goodreads of the plot was intriguing and what made me pick the book up in the first place. In this book, we follow several different main characters, Kayla, who goes missing, Gabie, who was supposed to be the target but Kayla asked to switch shifts with her and Drew, all working as pizza deliveries. 

However, the execution of the plot itself, fell a little flat in my opinion. I feel like I might be a little generous with my 3 star rating but it did have potential to be a good story? I think a more accurate rating would be a 2. Maybe I'll change this later. However, I felt myself muttering "huh?" throughout a lot of the book and wondering why some of the characters made certain choices. There were also questions that were left unanswered and the kidnapping itself didn't really seem all that fleshed out.

           Officially 3.5 stars. The thriller aspect was great, I feel like it was a bit hard for me to like gab but at times because she kept thinking in how it should be her when she could of made a plan to maybe help Kayla sooner. Also, I didn’t like the romance between gabbie and drew because in the end we don’t even find out if they end up together, making it pointless. It kept me on edge a bit and I liked That, the sergeant was an ass at the end, seemingly pissed these two teens saved this girl that they knew was not dead. Other then that do I recommend? Yes. Would I read it a second time? Maybe if I have nothing else I want to read, I just feel it was very information dumpy and not enough suspense at times. Like we really needed a drunk Gabbie scene where she said she wanted drew and said it again to herself the morning after but then sort of told drew otherwise.

I enjoyed it, it was a good and solid read. but i guess it lacked in the mistery part, i've never read a thriller where We can basically know what happened from early on in the book, because of the kidnapper and the kidnapped point of view. it was weird but i liked it.
