The daughters of Sesshomaru and Inuyasha set out on a journey transcending time! In feudal Japan, half-demon twins Towa and Setsuna are separated from each other during a forest fire. While desperately searching for her younger sister, Towa wanders into a mysterious tunnel that sends her into present-day Japan, where she is found and raised by Kagome Higurashi’s brother, Sota, and his family. Ten years later, the tunnel reopens and Towa is reunited with Setsuna, who is now a demon slayer. But to Towa’s shock, Setsuna appears to have lost all memories of her older sister! Joined by Moroha, the daughter of Inuyasha and Kagome, the three young women travel between the two eras on an adventure to regain their missing past. In modern-day Japan, Towa is idolized for her dashing looks by the lovestruck girls at the high school she attends. When she shows up one night to hear a girl’s love confession, she gets a lot more than she bargained for! Not only is the unwitting girl being possessed by a malevolent demon, a tunnel to the past opens, admitting a far more dangerous demon with Towa’s long-lost twin sister Setsuna and her cousin Moroha in pursuit of it!

If you're a Sess/Rin fan I'd say yeah give Yashahime a go. Me personally, never saw that as a ship or rooted for it but I continued on with the anime because ~ the nostalgia~ and I also really enjoy Morohas character. They tweaked a few bits of the story from the anime to the manga, which to me was a good call. I think this will be fun for fans of the original series who don't mind seeing the OG's sitting on the sidelines or making infuriatingly enigmatic decisions in the background.

Love the new art style and there are more details than could be captured in the anime!
