Did not like this one. Boring and a chore to read... Felt forced, every emotional moment in it, forced and fake. And ofc the moment the bad guy arrives it arrives to ruin only the c-list character and to kill a secondary character and kill an animal for some shock value... Throw in another line of Jane's that has to do with cancer being a punchline to a villain before she gets angry and here comes Thor: God of Repetitiveness. Like we get it. Yes. Enough.

This one was ok too. Mediocre story with an ok artwork that sometimes were too much for my taste, and being all over the place with too much happening, kinda picked up at the end there but overall was almost losing interest with the Shi ar war.

It was ok. Do not care that much for the story and kinda gets repetitive a bit, I mean yeah ok sure, it's jane she has cancer and we know it, Thor feels unworthy and he's whining about it, and we get some boring glimpses of Thor's entourage that I never cared about except Sif. Oh well..

This got me back to liking it after the previous volume which I didn't like a bit. Great end and actually interesting and fun to read even if it wasn't surprising or shocking. Would like to see Jane back as Thor for sure and would like to read more after this one, unless it's like the War Thor volume, then I'll pass. Amazingly beautiful artwork. The coloring is just so damn good on this one. Loved it. Every single panel of it, especially towards the end. Is it worth it to go through the previous two volumes to get to the end that's good? I guess? Maybe? You'll be the judge of that. I can't take that decision.

A good start for Thor. Great story and nice artwork! I like the whole 60s Thor themed with the transformation and the back and forth and all that ( without the silly script )

I didn't dislike this volume but I'd have to say the Generations comic is the highlight here. As fun as the main comic is, the main plot gets put on hold, for a side story about Volstagg when he finds the Ultimate universe's Mjolnir and becomes the War Thor. It's interesting enough to hold my attention but I'm eager for the climax. Don't worry! The major war is coming to the ten realms thanks to the machinations of Malekith and Loki. Just not in this volume. And then what will happen to our hero, Jane Foster?

A spectacular ending to The Mighty Thor run. This run is ultimately about the nature of self-sacrifice for something greater than one’s self and the power of belief, and friendship, and the temptation of power (even if one is using it for good). The arc throughout the volume is, as it has been, a parallel between Jane Foster’s battle with her own body and the fights that she takes on as Thor. When wielding Mjolnir, she is powerful, the goddess of thunder. When she puts the magical hammer down, she is weak, dying, getting worse each and every time....and in this volume we finally see her get rid of Mjolnir so she can battle the ultimate war: cancer. Will she overcome it? Read to find out! This is one of the most emotional comics I've read. As Jane Foster, Jason Aaron, Russell Dauterman, and Matt Wilson move on, so shall we all to new and different stories about the Mighty Thor. We shall, however, always remember that Jane Foster proved herself, if nothing else, worthy. This gets close to being the pinnacle of superohero comics. And the art is pretty outstanding...with tributes to Jack Kirby's style. This is, in deed, a must read comic.

Can't wait to see what's gonna happen next! Need to get my hands on volume 3 ASAP!!! I especially love Loki in this, and how badass Jane is while dealing with everything! So brilliant and moving. I sure hope she doesn't die, she's just so damn awesome.
