I am so so so happy I went out of my comfort zone to read this. Im not usually a big fan of second chance romances or romances that involve amnesia because I am one weak bitch. the smallest amount of angst and I’ll start sobbing. But with that being sad, I am so grateful the author gave me an opportunity to read this because I adore it! 

Archie and Meyer have been divorced for over a year. So when she receives a phone call from the hospital telling her that her husband has been in an accident, she has questions. 

Turns out, Archie has retrograde amnesia and forgets the past two years of their lives. As Meyer works to help get his memories back so he can leave, and stay gone, Archie is determined to fix the burnt bridge between them. 

I don’t even know where to begin with what I loved about this book. it was fairly short (or maybe I just read it fast) with a well thought-out and executed plot, you love all of the characters even when you probably shouldn’t. Not to mention it made me laugh out loud several times. The author did an amazing job of creating characters you want to root for. I cant wait for this to come out so I can force everyone to read it

You know that tiktok video of that white lady that goes "i was an atheist until i saw jesus in my bedroom" this is exactly how i feel about this book it took me out of a 3 months long reading slump. 

Honestly though there's nothing better than reading a romance book with a divorce couple and an ex husband who got amnesia and the ex wife has to take care of him because he thinks they're still married. 

It's in no way perfect this book didn't make sense to me i am still thinking abt his plane that crashed into some senior citizen's backyard and didn't even scratch her house.....like ok i assume it's a small kind of planes but that doesn't make sense still like where the fuck was it gonna park? (Land??? Fuck the english language) is that even legal? Do people with small planes fly anywhere they want in America?? But then again yall can have guns and shoot ppl unprovoked so in my mind the United states is a fictional place.

This book was cute, fast-paced, and easy to read. The plot follows Meyer and Archie who have been divorced for around a year, but when Archie's plane crashes he suffers from retrograde amnesia - thinking he and Meyer are still happily married.

I really like the concept of this book and really enjoyed reading it. I feel it was slightly rushed and would have benefitted from perhaps being a bit slower-paced.

I gave this 3 stars but it is more around 3.5/3.75 stars :)
