this was cute and enjoyable i just don’t think i was in the right headspace whilst reading it due to exam prep !! will definitely read more from this author though <3

I picked up this book as it sounded relatable to me. Becoming an 'influencer' is growing in popularity and this book captures that. Izzy's friends and family were all likeable characters and I like how they all genuinely look out for her. The character of Luke felt stereotypical to how I image a wanna-be influencer would be. The way Izzy and Aidan's bond grew was enjoyable to read and the pace of the book felt just right. I took one star of the story down to the fact I felt it did become quite repetitive with the mentions of 'being so close to my dream' and the word Instagram overall. I understand it's the main plot of the book but I felt it didn't need to mentioned so many times, the story would still flow and make sense. I was not expecting the ending to pan out how it did but I really liked it and gave an insight into the other side of making a living by social media.
