Let me just start with saying that the bones of this book have the potential to be great. I kept finding some different inconsistent plot points and some of the timeline felt jumpy that I couldn’t get a clear idea of the plot. 

Some characters that were important to the MCs weren’t explained much either and just made me a bit confused on their importance to the book or even for the characters. 

I go into every book with a positive outlook and I wanted to believe I would get it the further I went but I felt so rushed throughout that I couldn’t get a clear grasp of the book. I also know that was Kyra’s first book and I do plane on reading the rest of the series and hoping that it for the lack of a better term got the first book jitters out of the way and see growth with the plots, characters, and overall development.

This book is the first book I've been able to read in less than a day in about a month. I have been in a slump and I still couldn't stop reading this.
