I hate this book. It still reigns as one of my least favourite of the Goosebumps series. Gary, our very 90s protagonist, is displeased with his life so when he sees an advertisement about vacationing through a body swap, he thinks why not? No one would ever notice this! Also, this technology is obviously going to be put to use for vacations for kids and remain otherwise pretty secret. Of course the body swap goes wrong, and Gary ends up stuck in the body of a bee because reasons. He tries to get back to normal, but the kid in his body wants to take him over for reasons. Cue a lot of Gary being a bee and his body trying to kill him and all this is so ridiculous and dumb, even in a series based on things like living snowmen. Eventually Gary gets smushed, but this triggers him to return to his body. Because reasons. Now he acts like a bee on occasion and the other kid goes back to being bad at math (this was a plot point. Oyy). Lulz? I have no idea. This was terrible and I was too busy being annoyed by it to consider whether or not it was scary in the least.
