Completely biased to give an honest review!

I have opened my eyes to Oprah’s show before speaking English, and would do my best reading the Arabic subtitles to keep up with the show... I was 8 or 9 years old then! 
I find myself drawn to her podcasts and books whenever I feel anxious, or whenever I miss home. I admired her empathy and openness! 

About the book now, if you are familiar with her Masterclass well then this is a sort of workbook for it! And if Oprah keeps Eckhart Tolle's book on her nightstand (A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose), I think that I might just keep this one instead... 

Starting from the seeds to arrive home, each contribution was whole in itself. Tiny pieces of experience and advice shared in bright moments of connection. Focusing on growth, listening to the inner voice, having a big purpose,... All the themes that she is known for studying were here!

Reading this book felt like a brain massage, where time stopped and stillness spoke (as in Tolle's book). (Stillness Speaks )

"I believe in love. I believe in you. I believe in me. I believe in this, the most potent moment in human history."

I feel compelled to re evaluate my life now!

            Life is about growth and change, and when are no longer doing either, you’ve received your first whisper. Pay attention to what makes you feel energized, connected, and stimulated. Follow your intuition. Do what you love and you will do more than succeed. You will soar. 

This was such a calming book to listen to. The pieces of life wisdom throughout, from Oprah and guests, helped center me and remind me of the important things in life. This book is a reminder that a short book can be just as, if not more, impactful as a long book.
