As always with Jennifer Robson's books I wanted to sit and savour every page but found myself devouring the book instead. Wonderful balance of historical information, character backstory and emotional connection. I love when an author can create secondary characters (or even the characters who only appear briefly but add to the flow of the narrative) who are as vivid and real and fleshed out as the main characters.
