I picked up this book expecting a few funny anecdotes and jokes. I don't go to Amy Schumer for life advice, wisdom or spiritual enlightenment. However, the book did teach me a thing or two. And yes, it was crass at times. I disagreed with Amy. I wouldn't want my future son or daughter to hang out with young Amy. Yet, reading her book did provide me with an interesting perspective from someone's who's family was a lot more dysfunctional and troubled than mine. And yet she's learned to live a pretty good life despite those things. And no, the solution wasn't money, although it certainly helped as she explains in her New Money chapter.
