Meh Hoped it would be better.. just 4-5 lines of “scary” “stories” that go on and on and on.. would like to say that it had some good ones.. but nope. Not for me. Reminded me of those Instagram accounts who post pictures of 3-5 lines of “scary” dialogues, situations and stuff. Oh well...

I won this book in a goodreads giveaway, thank you so much to the author and the publisher! This book was not what I was expecting, which is kind of silly, seeing as it's all right in the title. It was quite literally a collection of one sentences, separated into different categories. It almost felt more like skimming through a list of prompts, which was fun. They were all intriguing, some perfectly portioned into their one sentence, but most hinting at so much more. I only gave this book 3/5 stars because, as I said before, it DID really just feel like a list of prompts (and I don't know how to give half stars on here, so it SHOULD be 3.5/5), but I'm excited to read Limbo, also by Marko Pandza, when I finally get my hands on a copy, as I love the style these sentences are written in. I am almost tempted to contact the author and ask if some of these sentences could be used as inspiration for something bigger, with full credit given of course.

One sentence horror. "The fact that my boyfriend made such a good living off his handmade lampshades was less surprising than how long it took for someone to notice the freckles." I received a copy of this ebook from a Goodreads giveaway! As a fan of two sentence horror stories and the horror genre in general I was excited to check this out. There were a lot of fun and even thought provoking "stories" here. This was a quick, spooky, sometimes gory, occasionally unsettling read. I think this would be perfect to set the mood around Halloween.
