This was so good and so fun! Rating dropped because, with the audiobook, the plot was often difficult to follow and the differing POVs kind of blended together. Can’t wait to listen to the next one, though!

Nudist orc resorts? Stop this, y'all. 🥹 I cannot believe there is this whole sector of literature that I have fallen in love with and y'all are here to experience the journey with me. 😭🥰 I thoroughly enjoyed GIRLS WEEKEND by Nascosta [I got this recommendation from @year.in.books ✨]. Despite being a short novel, the second is a longer version of this, which I am excited to dive into. It was a delight to pick up GIRLS WEEKEND after reading ICE PLANETS, as Nascosta introduces orcs and elves—and otherwordly beings—into this "human" landscape in an incredibly entertaining way. Rather than having humans invade an alien world, it is an integration of both, which becomes very enjoyable by the end. As you progress through the novel, you become increasingly attached to Lurielle and Khash's relationship. It is rather surprising since the premise stipulates that they—each of the girls, Ris and Silva, too—should not become attached, yet each of them does. It was such a terrific idea to feature a nudist colony, especially with these salacious orcs who are ✨so mf✨ sexually expressive. It is incredible—in the best possible way—to read a blow job on one page and then a threesome on the following page; truly marvelous. 😍 It was a delightful experience to see such openness toward sexuality. 🥹 There is a nice balance between each POV [when one branch's POV splits off from another, it still flows smoothly into the next], which alternates between their experiences and their own struggles; although it is set in an orcish 🧝🏾♀️ environment, it is ✨universally✨ relatable. The comfort and comfortability of this smutty gem were almost as enjoyable as the coupling and threesomes, but both are equally wonderful. I enjoyed the threesomes more, but y'all know me. 🤷🏾♀️😂

** spoiler alert ** Set in the same world with "Morning Glory Milking Farm" this story is about 3 elves working in Cambric Creek who go to weekend in ork nudist resort. One of these elves is Lurielle from MGMF, so this book serves as prequel of sorts that tells how she met Khash. Another is Silva, who also finds her love, and there is Ris, who I guess got what she wanted. The story was fun, but had less worldbuilding I hoped to get (I really like Cambric Creek).

Cute and sexy

There's something about the world that Nascosta writes that I just enjoy so much. This isn't just some regular monster smut..this is monster smut premium.

Fun, quick read! I found myself skipping over Nis' POV, but loved the other two girls! 3 friends go to an orc nudist resort for a long weekend... what could happen!? :)

*Received ARC in exchange for an honest review* Rating: 4.5 Stars! bookboyfriendsdoitbetter.com I'm not sure what I was expecting going into this, but it wasn't this. Holy crap, I loved this so much! Girls Weekend is so steamy, entertaining, and addicting! I love that we got POVs from all three of the girls! I completely fell in love with Silva and Lurielle! The only reason I went with 4.5 is that I didn't connect as much to Ris as the other two, but I still loved this story. I completely devoured Girls Weekend and read it in a couple of hours (with a few breaks in between lol). I've been slowly heading into a reading slump these last few days and this really slapped the slump out of the way. If you're a bit hesitant to pick this up, DO IT. It's a super quick, fun, and steamy read!

4.5⭐️ I went into this book mostly blind and I had the best time! Who knew that a romance between orc, elves and fae could be this good because I didn’t! This book which I have now learnt is the first in a series follows three female elves going to a nudist Orc commune for a fun time! They have had the worse luck with dating in their city and just want to have some no strings attached sex just for the weekend or do they... However, as you know love has a way of happening unexpectedly. This may seem insta-lovey at first since almost half of the book occurs over one weekend but we do get to see the relationship grow over a span of a few months which makes it feel less so. My fave couple is Lurielle and Khash but the best chemistry by far is definitely Silva and Tate! Each female have their own issues that they are dealing with. There are familial pressures and toxicity, mentions of toxic past partners, trauma and insecurities as a result of such, the struggle to have control over one’s life/freedom among other issues. One thing that is very much at the forefront of this book is the commentary of dating outside of your species. Interracial dating is mostly frowned upon among most communities and will further strain the familial dynamics mentioned. One complaint I have is the underdevelopment of Ris which is one of the female POVs we follow. In the beginning and some parts of the middle we get to know her a bit but her character lacked depth and then she is basically forgotten for the other half of the book. I legitimately forgot she was a character until near the end. Also, I disliked how the women really didn’t look out for one another on this trip. They would go out and meet with unknown males but never really checked in with each other to make sure they were all safe and well. The thought was there but no action or follow through. That’s a red flag for me because I feel it’s always important to look out for my friends especially in a foreign place. You never know whom or what is lurking out there waiting to hurt unsuspected tourists. Also, there were a few grammatical errors in this book. I assume this is self-published but it didn’t take away from my enjoyment of the book. Lastly, the smut in this book was 🌶🌶🌶🌶!!! This was better than some of my romance reads this year and I am here for it! I would definitely recommend giving this a try if you’re looking for something a bit different than your usual romance reads. I’m glad I gave this a try and I’m invested in this series and want to read other works by this author. CW: multiple POVs, nonhuman characters, size differences, MFF threesome, HFN (happy for now) ending. The author has noted that this series is a guaranteed HEA/HFN for all but she is going to make them work for it.
