This book was a strange one for me. At times it felt rushed and parts were stodgily written. I also felt Noah at times was so incredibly passive. And the ghost Peyton? So weird, as was the abrupt stop to her. That especially felt strange to me. There was no transition or hint she was going to get better, it was just bam! Here she is. Then there was the constant mentioning of everyone from the Beaumont books and connections and it got tiring and repetitive to try and figure out what was happening or what was meant. So, a strange book but fans of the series will probably love.
