I Hope This Makes You Uncomfortable Poems
Kat Savage returns after a two-year poetry hiatus to release "I Hope This Makes You Uncomfortable," a collection of poetry intended to do just that. In this collection, the author focuses on a little heartache, a little loneliness, but mostly being a woman, and all the sensitive, uncomfortable, and violent emotions and acts it brings about.

I really enjoyed this collection! It was a quick read but a deep one. Each poem evoked emotion and I could personally relate to so much in this book. It does speak a lot of abuse and the authors trauma but it’s in a way that makes you feel like you’re not alone in what you went through. It was definitely beneficial for me to read. A few poems even made me cry and others gave me “oh” or moments of clarity with thing I never thought of. Definitely add this to your list of Savages books to read
