Never eat alone and other secrets to success one relationship at a time
Reviews

I really liked this at first but towards the end it started becoming too focused on conferences and I had to teeter off

Before you roll your eyes and scoff this off as another “how to network” self help book — I would clear the slate and read this: this book makes you feel guilty, hopeful and inspired in that very order. It gives you practical tips to apply in your life, the confidence to overcome bouts of social anxiety in relationships and most of all, plots the “why” behind all of this. A must read for anyone who has ever had the thought “i can do this alone”

One of the best business/networking books I've read. Really makes you think about the relationships you're building, both professional and social, and the way you're building them. Modern take on "how to make friends"

The usual self-help garbage. Why do I bother you ask? That's a great question...

This started off pretty strong, then slowly started unraveling into what felt like short-form tips by the end of the book. Overall it seemed to lack cohesiveness, and a lot of the end of the book felt like filler to take up space.

Never Eat Alone - the title was a hook and little did I know that this was a book about networking. There are some useful tips such as content creation and other quips but also a number of things I disagreed with too. Err, name dropping? I think not.
