It was pretty awesome but I don't believe this Ending, I can't accept it.

I am new to comic books and haven't read the original Suicide Squad, but this story is awesome! I like how Harley Quinn is portrayed and that I am introduced to so many villians/superheroes that I have never heard of. I can't wait to get the second TP.

Getting better!

Liked it, looking forward to finding out what happens next. I wouldn't recommend if you don't already have some previous knowledge on the universe.

"Okay, my bad. I had an off day. But I would only betray you for Mr. J". Lots more action that the first TP. Will be continuing with the series.

3.5*. The best one so far. Will be reading Volume 4 later on in the year.

Thanks to Batwoman, I'm spending more time at the Comic Shop and this series keeps catching my eye. The premise is that jailed super villians are coerced into joining a secret/black ops group that works under the direction of the government on missions that the government will, of course, deny all knowledge of if they are caught. In return their sentences are reduced, if they survive. Kind of like Mission Impossible - with crazy-ass super villians who have questionable morals and sanity. This is a pretty dark series - with a mounting body count (there is no Batman rule of no killing when you are a super villian). I was never a big DC fan when I read comics when I was younger, so most of the villians are unknown to me but I'm picking things up quickly. I love Harley Quinn - and not just because of the bustier. She's absolutely nuts. There is very little background - the story starts with a bang and each chapter moves at a pretty fast pace. There aren't any heroes in this one - the one "superhero" is more of a vigilante and has no qualms about killing bad guys. I'm not sure if there will be too many redemption arcs in this series. :) I read the graphic novel in one night and plan to pick up the series where it left off. I will read it again and then formulate more of an opinion, but for now I'm thinking 3.5 to 4 ... leaning to 4 because I like the dark tone of the storylines.
