I liked this book. I thought it might be strange reading Caleb’s story, especially as we’ve seen him grow up, but it wasn’t a problem. I’m not sure I agree that he’s raunchier than his dad, the really raunchy parts we didn’t see, but the heat level was good. One thing i was confused by was Ruby characterising herself as shy. She doesn’t come across like that at all. She has body image issues, who doesn’t?, but shy isn’t how I’d describe her. I did really like the action in this story. More than any, I think this was a great mix as I have previously said some of them could use it. I’m also not sure of the passage of time. Birthdays for instance seem to have been forgotten. Other than that, this was a great end to a great series. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it as a light read.
