Magic Hour
Reviews

A great early fall read. I felt allll the emotions reading this.

Having read Nightingale, I expected to be at once intrigued by Magic Hour. I found myself not wanting to put this book down and immediately being immersed into this small town drama that unfolded. I was greeted with a familiarity of this story at once and was rooting for Girl and Julia and her sister. I do wish we had more of Max's backstory and I don't think it would of hurt for there to be a bit less of jumping time but overall a wonderful book and well written. Although thoroughly a fiction novel, there's some fantasy or magic aspects to it.

I really enjoy Kristin Hannah's books; this was one of my favorites. I didn't care for the characters at first, but as they developed, I ended up liking them a lot, especially Julia. I love a book that makes me laugh and cry, and this was no exception. Happy and sad tears. I highly recommend it.
