Cthulu? More like 'can though believe the audacity of Gaiman to try to mash up Sherlock and Lovecraft.'

This is a seminal Neil Gaiman story that fuses Sherlock Holmes and the Cthulhu Mythos. It is also a re-telling, or pastiche, of one of the Sherlock Holmes’ stories, “A Study in Scarlet.”

I've always loved this short story, and it fit the form of graphic novel very well. The art was creepy, atmospheric, and a lovely addition :)

That was fun. Sherlock Holmes meets Cthulu through Gaiman's lense of weird and supernatural. The way Gaiman slowly reveals the world to the reader is pretty good. Also Sherlock stuff is pretty fun in general

A very happy birthday to Mr. Gaiman, my hero until the end of the world.

This was fantastic. First the artwork was detailed and exquisite. The vibes are supernatural Victorian London which I'm here for. I haven't read any Lovecraft but it has piqued my interest. Gaiman is a master of setting the scene and creating an atmosphere. Would totally recommend.
