Introduction
Captivate Me is the fifth book in the "Ravage MC" series and this installment was a bit different than the previous books as this contains two story plot lines of two main couples and then the backstory for "Pop and Ma" and their story. But its not confusing, because the first half of the story is one couple being focused on, and then the second half is the other couple. I was able to get this both in ebook and audiobook so I do recommend reading this either way, but the narrator is very well done. I found this one to deliver on all the feels and boy the spice is a powerhouse, so maybe not listen to this one in public haha

Summary
Pop and Ma fell in love but in order to be together they had to make some painful sacrifices which meant keeping secrets from their club and their children. But now the past has come back and their enemy, has come back in full force and may threaten everything that they hold dear and more. We first have Buzz and Bella who have been having a sexual affair for months, but when Buzz finds out something about their enemy, he brings Bella in without alerting the club of the danger ahead. But Buzz is determined to atone for the betrayal to his club, but also to fight for the woman he loves and make her his ole lady. Then we have his brother, Breaker, who falls hard for a woman that one would least expect to see again. Shania, once hurt the club but in the process also suffered a fate worse than death and she is still haunted and suffers from depression and anxiety because of it. But Breaker sees a vulnerability in this woman, the like of which he has never known, and wants to bring peace to her soul and give her space for redemption. But they have an enemy on the horizon, that may destroy them all...

My Outlook
I have to say that this author really threw me for a loop on this one here. It definitely had me in my emotions in a way that I didn't expect. I have only read a handful of her stories, but sometimes, when she puts the full array of emotions she really makes it be felt so deep by the reader and everytime she does it, I do NOT see it coming and that is what happened with "Captivate Me". This is a story that starts out with lots of sexual banging haha We also see some poignant emotion that begins to surface between these two. We also see the rules of the MC and how the brotherhood is the top priority even over the families. But the fact that Buzz was willing to break his loyalty for his woman, really melted my heart. You just don't see that often in MC. I really got a kick out of Buzz and Bella being together, although it came together a bit too rushed for me. I would have liked more buildup of them being together longterm than what we see. But what I did enjoy was how Bella really accepts Buzz for who he is and supports him and his club.

Then we have our second pairing, Breaker and Shania. Now Breaker is Buzz's brother. And just fair warning that there is a MMF scene in this one, so if that isn't your cup of tea you can easily skip over it, its very short and doesn't get expounded on. To be honest, I am not sure why it was placed in the story. I am still baffled since this isn't a menage of two brothers. But continue on, we now have the romance that builds between Breaker and Shania. Shania is one I had a feeling would get a redemption story. Because even though she wrongs the club, we also see what happens to her in "Seduce Me" and the darkness that she deals with was so heart wrenching to witness. We see the after effects of what sexual assault can do to a person and how your psyche treats it. She is literally on the verge of being suicidal, but meeting Breaker, gives her hope because she sees something more than her abuse with him around. He is able to center her back to living life and seeing the way he is able to ground her was truly endearing. I loved the way that when it matters, the club does stand behind her despite what she did when she wronged them (although what she does I don't think was unforgivable, she was just on a wrong path of self destruction)

Then we have the overall plot of the story and I really enjoyed this especially in that we get to see such a solid back story with "Pops and Ma". They are such a foundation for the club and this found family and I adored seeing their backstory and how they meet and fall in love. We also see the sacrifices they make and how much they will fight and die for their family and their club. I truly admired their love that has been building so much over the years. I really couldn't seem to get enough of these two. But this is where the plot comes to a crescendo, as their enemy surfaces and it won't be what they expect and man my heart hurts for what this club goes through, but they persevere through it and come out stronger for it. We do get a nice epilogue that really brings everything to a nice sweet close, until the next book anyway.

Overall View
I found Captivate Me to be a stunning installment that delivered on all the gritty heart and feels and I am very curious to see where this author takes this series in the second generation that is up next....
