Sabrina the Teenage Witch
Reviews

Sabrina the Teenage Witch by Kelly Thompson and Veronica Fish is a collection of issues 1-5. It's a redo or reimagining of Sabrina and her aunts, and of course, Salem the familiar. It's been probably forty years since I read a Sabrina comic. As a kid I remember head-canoning that this Sabrina was the same Sabrina from Bewitched, just younger. The white hair / black hair difference could be explained away with dye. Of course that's all just my silly retconning of two unrelated series. http://pussreboots.com/blog/2020/comm...

ART WAS GORGEOUS! The coloring was so amazing and pretty! I loved it. I really enjoyed the beginning but the pacing sometimes got to me, especially with Sabrina’s two romantic interests and the ending as well.

the illustrations are breathtaking

I loved the modernized take on Sabrina. I love all the witchy vibes and I adore sassy Salem. The illustrations and color scheme were awesome. I'm looking forward to continuing on to the next volume. I also want to go watch The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina now.

This was SO cute, I almost wish I'd ordered it over the CAOS comics tbh? Mostly because Ren fills the hole in my heart that Nick's absence gave me throughout CAOS.

4.5 stars This was fun! It had a bit of a slow start but then picked up later on. Salem is a national treasure and I love Sabrina here, also...the art style is gorgeous? The facial expressions are HILARIOUS and as an artist myself this is peak comic art and I love this way more than those same face (and Artstyle) Marvel/DC comics. Only thing I didn’t like was the love triangle and girl on girl hate in the beginning (which gets softened pretty quick tho, so I hope there will be some development in that area). The love triangle is especially annoying bc THEY ARE BOTH THE SWEETEST GUYS AND I WANT HER TO BE WITH BOTH OF THEM! Can she have both please?

I enjoyed the artwork but not much else. The story felt all over the place and just meh.
